STEM Girl Day UT Austin

Join Texas Science & Natural History Museum for "hands-on" learning during STEM Girl Day at UT Austin in our "Get a Grip: The Wonders of Hands" activity! Explore the evolution of hands by observing several mammals' bones and comparing their structure and function. Make a working model hand and see how bones and tendons give us our "handy" abilities.

These outdoor activities on the museum's patio are free for registered participants of STEM Girl Day, which welcomes elementary and middle school students, families and educators to a day of free STEM fun across the UT campus. Regular admission prices apply for museum admission.

This activity is part of the STEM Girl Day - Texas Science Festival Adventure, Sponsored by the College of Natural Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin.
