The University of Texas at Austin

Both the main entrance and accessible entrance (including for families with strollers) to the museum are located at 2400 Trinity Street. If coming from the San Jacinto Garage, exit the garage on level 3 and follow the signs.
Parking
There are five parking spaces in front of Texas Science & Natural History Museum available for visitors at a cost of $6 for two hours. If a space is available, you may park and then purchase a dashboard pass when you check in at the admissions desk.
If a space in front of the museum is not available, paid parking is available in the San Jacinto Parking Garage next to the museum. The garage has entrances on San Jacinto Boulevard and on Trinity Street. Paid parking is also available in other UT parking garages, and metered parking is available along Dean Keeton Street and along San Jacinto Boulevard on the south side of Dean Keeton. Parking is also available near the LBJ Library lot #40. The entry height for the San Jacinto Garage is 6 feet, 11 inches. The entry height for Manor Garage is 8 feet.
Metered parking is available along Dean Keeton Street. Parking is also available near the LBJ Library lot #40.
Because the UT campus is a busy place with many activities and events, we recommend checking the museum website for parking notices before you visit the museum.
Please note: The museum does not manage the garage. Parking availability and pricing may vary during large campus events.
Museum members receive two hours of validated parking per visit at the San Jacinto Garage. If that garage is full, members can park at the Manor Garage or 27th Street Garage and receive validation during their museum visit. If a garage is rented out by another unit on campus and is in “event mode,” we regret that we cannot offer validated member parking.
