Volunteers on the Education team are called Gallery Guides. Gallery Guides interpret up-to-date and engaging scientific information to visitors in the museum’s exhibit galleries, lead guided tours, participate in museum events and ensure the exhibit components are not mishandled or damaged.
We’re now accepting volunteer applications for the 2026 spring semester! To apply, please complete this form and email your resume to tmmeducation@austin.utexas.edu. Applicants selected for the next stage will be contacted in early January to schedule interviews.
