Join Texas Science & Natural History Museum and Angel Schatz, executive director of Central Texas Mycology, to explore the remarkable role fungi have played in Earth’s history. This free public program will explore millions of years of deep time, from the Triassic-Jurassic apocalypse to the deep sea, revealing fungi as our ancient ancestors and quiet guardians. They didn’t just survive Earth’s darkest moments, they engineered life back from the dead. People ask: Can fungi save us? The truth? They already have.
