Have you ever wanted to contribute to an exhibition at Texas Science & Natural History Museum? Now’s your chance!
During a guided one-hour workshop with local artist Clare Wuellner, you’ll learn how to draw an anatomically correct monarch butterfly while exploring what makes these iconic pollinators so fascinating. Your butterfly will then be incorporated in a brand-new art installation at the museum, opening Spring 2026.
Workshops take place on Saturday, September 27 at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Each workshop is free with paid museum admission. No supplies needed!
Spots are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis, so make sure you arrive on time and get ready to see monarchs in a whole new way.
This project is supported in part by the City of Austin Office of Arts, Culture, Music and Entertainment.
